We want people to be financially healthy later on, and to feel at ease about it now. Pensionplanner is built by two founders who came at the same problem from banking and from engineering: almost nobody knows where they stand with their pension — and what you do not understand, you cannot improve.

His focus: removing the barriers people run into when making pension decisions, so they can make better choices.

Bob is a Lead Creative Technologist: an experienced developer and technologist with over 10 years in cloud applications, AI integrations, IT innovation and public speaking. He designed the entire Pensionplanner architecture, from the document parser to the privacy-first frontend. His focus: technology that makes complex calculations invisible to the person using them.

The jaarruimte calculation is written into Dutch law, but the data you need for it is scattered across the tax office, your employer and your pension provider. We parse those documents and run every calculation in your own browser — your income, Factor A and pension balances never leave your device. What you get back is a single overview: what you are accruing, what you are missing, and what a contribution is worth to you after tax.
